Summer fun!!! Long post sorry!

This summer has been non-stop busy so far!!! We have Lagoon passes again and have gone lots, We took the kids to the Drive-In to see Toy Story 3 and LOVED it!!! We went to the Riverdale splash pad and have seen lots of fireworks!!! We went to the fish farm with my family which is an annual tradition and then cooked out and had a fire with s'mores at my moms. We have swam at my moms and put the sprinklers under the trampoline both of which the kids loved.
Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Bear Lake with all Ryan's family and we stayed at my friend Erin's parents cabin and it was beautiful!!!! The first day we got there we went straight to the beach and the kids had a blast digging in the sand and playing in the shallow water. Ryans sister Haley and her boyfriend Josh bought a boat and Ally went on a ride with her aunts and uncles and fell asleep while Ryan and I were having fun with the wave runners that Ryan's parents rented. Last year Ryan tipped us over and it wasn't easy climbing back on when the water is that cold so I threatened him with his life this year cuz being a big fat pregnant girl would make it even harder to climb back on. Justin and Ally were a little nervous to go on the wave runners at first and had to slowly build up their courage. Justin was too nervous to go on the tube on the boat but Ally had a blast and went back a second time. We ate lots of yummy food, had fun playing ping pong, air hockey and the guys really enjoyed the shuffle board table. Ryan's brother Josh and his wife Amy brought their Wii up and we had fun playing rock band and Just Dance. We even talked the guys into playing one song on Just Dance and it was pretty funny watching Ryan, his dad, brother and Josh dance to Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Ryans mom did her annual Bingo game that the kids (and grownups) look forward to and everyone ended up with tons of prizes. The room that me,Ryan and the kids stayed in was perfect for us cuz it had a bed for me and Ryan right next to bunk beds for the kids which was awesome cuz we just bought some bunk beds for the kids and Ally was really struggling until we broke her in up there while sleeping in the same room with her. Ryan's mom had bought all the girls matching shirts and Justin and Cason matching shirts and gave them all to the kids on the last day so we could take some cute pictures.

The first week back from Bear Lake Justin and his cousin Auzzie started taking swim lessons from a guy in our ward and Justin is doing AWESOME!!! Today he even jumped into the deep end and then did the back stroke all the way back to the shallow end without any help. Ally and I even got in the water so she could splash around for a while and it felt really good and relaxing.

Justins official 6th birthday is tomorrow but we had all our family over on Sunday for cake and Ice cream and PRESENTS!!! My kids get so spoiled from everyone that we hardly have to buy them anything. This year some of Justins favorite presents are his pogo stick, walkie talkies, hot wheels color blaster water changing set (aka mess), roller blades, Crayola glow station and he is anxiously anticipating the butterfly garden that we got that we have to send away for the caterpillars. Ally had so much fun playing will all her cousins and Justins new toys and neither of them wanted the night to end.

We are headed to lagoon again tomorrow for Justins birthday so the kids are very excited about that even though they have been a ton already this year. I got released from the Relief Society presidency after 2 1/2 years and now I am a Bear leader for the cub scouts and really enjoying the change so far. I am about 25 weeks pregnant with another boy and having my targeted ultrasound on Monday so I will post some pics if we can get a good face shot.

Yes, I am still here.....kind of.

My cute little Valentines!!!!!
I know that I am lame for neglecting Ally's birthday and Christmas and probably lots of other important stuff but I just thought these pictures were too cute to not post. We have had a pretty boring year so far filled with lots of sicknesses. Seriously we have had it so rough this year I really think that someone has been sick every single week since October. Even right now Justin has a really bad cough and a little fever and hasn't been to school all week. I am blaming Kindergarten for bringing home all the germs. Ally has also been coughing a little here and there and our furnace quit working yesterday so we woke up to a freezing cold house. Luckily a guy in our ward was able to fix it for us for only 25 dollars. My poor kids have had total cabin fever and took advantage of the nice weather today and went out to jump on the tramp for a little bit. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL SPRING!!!! We are all going ice skating with Ryans family tonight so hopefully I will remember to take some pictures and maybe get around to posting them sometime next year.LOL. Even though I suck at updating my blog I still enjoy reading everyone elses and maybe one day will decide to update more than once a year.

And the winners are.....

Thanks to everyone who voted either through my blog, facebook, email or phone. Sorry to those of you who this wasn't their favorite but it wasn't even a close vote. I am thinking that the I love Edward one won't say Cullen just I heart Edward and they will be on black shirts so the Jacob one will be the same colors as the Edward one and also look more distressed like the Edward one. I will be getting in sample sizes sometime FRIDAY and then will need to place the order by Friday at 5:00 in order to send some out of state to people. If you or your friends or family want to order one then make sure to get a hold of me sometime before then either through my blog, email jennjaxon@hotmail.com or phone number 801-525-5281 and give me the sizes, how many you want, which team you want and your phone number so I can call you when they come in. I will let you know how the sizes run as soon as I find out. Thanks, Jen

New Moon Shirts

Okay guys, after having so many people ask if my mom could do Twilight shirts I have decided that it would be kinda fun to have them. I wanted one that wasn't necessarily "New Moon" so that I can wear it again in June when Eclipse comes out so I was thinking of doing Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts but I need your help. Here are my favorite designs and I want you to help me choose between them and then we will do the most popular design for each team. I will let you know which design wins so that you can order them and I will have to close the voting probably by tomorrow so that we can get going on them. Tell your friends too. The chosen design might look a tiny bit different from the ones pictured but we will get it as close as possible. Thanks, Jen

Wow, I am a LOSER!!!

Where do you even start when you haven't posted in 6 months??? Well, I know that I will not be able to remember everything or that anyone would want to see everything in one post. There probably isn't even anyone who still checks on this lonely little blog but I don't care. I like to look back on it so here it goes. Ryan's Grandma Mikesell passed away at the end of April the day before we left for St. George which was a blessing and sad at the same time. Ryan had to speak at the funeral and Justin got the privilege of being a pall bearer.
Justin graduated from preschool back in May and is now headed for Kindergarten and his mommy couldn't be more excited. He also played on a coach-pitch baseball team and LOVED it. He did so good for half of the team being 8 year olds he was one of the only kids on the team to get a hit 99 % of the time. (he struck out once) Ally is still a little monster but she is so cute that I just can't get too mad at her. She is talking so much now and I can understand most of it. I still think she is speaking another language sometimes though.

We have had a busy summer so far with lots of trips to Lagoon, a trip to Bear Lake, the Raptors game, Fish Farm, Rodeo and lots of trips swimming at grandma's house. Justin turned 5 on July 21st and we celebrated with the family at our house and then surprised him on a different day with a pajama party and breakfast at the church with all his friends.
We are busy planning our highly anticipated trip to Disneyland in Sept. and somehow I got roped into being in the PTA and in charge of T-Shirts which will be nice cuz I kind of have an inside source for shirts. I am really making a goal to try to update this at least once a month from now on but we will see. I am just too addicted to facebook for my own good and all my computer free time is usually spent there.

Christmas Time!!

Well, I know that I am a little behind as usual. I just wish I had a little behind. haha. I had so many pictures that I wanted to post so I decided to make a few collages instead. I got a memory mixer program for Christmas so this is all new and fun for me. The first one has pictures from mostly my moms house trying to take pictures for her Christmas cards which was a little bit of a nightmare trying to get all the kids to cooperate and there are also a few pictures of Justin and Ally from our house before church in their cute clothes my mom bought them.
Justin and Ally had the opportunity to see Santa 4 or 5 times this year and as you can see, Ally wasn't thrilled about any of them. The picture with her and Justin where she is screaming is from our ward party and I warned everyone that she would cry but I still wanted a picture. (Mean mom I know.) This is the first year that Santa has made his appearance at Ryan's parents house on X-mas eve but I hope he comes again next year when Ally might like him a little better. We went to my Aunt Pennie and Uncle Robert's house for their annual party first and then to Ryans parents second and had good food and company at both places. Our nephew Cason was sick and throwing up the whole night so that sucked but it was still a good time.
My mom also bought the grandkids matching pj's for christmas and they looked so cute waking up in them on Christmas morning. Justin woke up around 7:00 and yelled my name. When I went into his room he said "I wish it was morning so I could open my presents." Me being the mean mom that I am told him that it was not morning yet and he needed to go back to sleep for a little while even though I knew that wasn't going to happen. I was just as excited as him but I wanted Ally to get a little more sleep. After a half our or so of laying in bed with him we decided to go and wake up Ryan and Justin even layed in our bed until around 8:00 watching cartoons until he finally begged us to wake up Ally and we agreed. Justin was fun to watch open presents but is getting a little spoiled the older he gets and is never satisfied and always wants to open one more. He was most excited about his umbrella, Geotrax airport, Tonka street sweeper and cherry picker trucks and his Red Sox jersey that matches Ryans. Ally was most excited about all the wrapping paper and boxes and also enjoyed her new baby and sitting in her new chair. As you can see by the pictures, she was too distracted to look at the camera. After we opened presents at home we got dressed and headed over to Ryan's parents for breakfast and more presents. Justin got a bunch of stuff but the main present was the playskool dance cam that hooks to the t.v. so he can see himself dance. Ally also got a bunch but her main present was the leapfrog learning table that she absolutely loves. Ryan and I got a bunch of stuff too and MONEY!!! Thanks Bob and Teresa!
After we left Ryans parents, we came home so that Ally could take a nap and we put a bunch of their toys together and then headed up to my mom's to get SPOILED as usual. My mom has spoiled us since we were little and continues to do so. There were times as an adult that my stack of presents were taller than me. Ally loves her new Elmo live doll and Justins favorite was his robot that shoots disks out they also got more toys and TONS of clothes. Ryan and I also got tons of clothes as wells as tons of giftcards, and a folding table and chairs set. Thanks Mom. My mom also made these sweet pork tacos and they were YUMMY!!! Ryan got sick in the middle of the night and was throwing up and the next morning Justin also started throwing up. It was no fun taking care of those 2 and trying to keep Ally away from them. Justin threw up for 4 days straight and the majority of it was in my bed. After changing my sheets a few times he ended up laying on towells for a few days. Ryan's grandma, dad and my niece also got sick so the Gentry family party was rescheduled for this Friday. It's gonna be kinda weird going to a Christmas party so long after Christmas but it should be fun.
